Clubhouses in San Bernardino County vary, just as people vary. But all the clubhouses have the same purpose, to help members of the community recover from mental illness. One of the ways to this is to socialize with others and participate in a community. 

The San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health Directory of Services writes this:
"Clubhouses are programs run by clients or members who have minimal support from staff and offer job training, social activiites and education."
