Good news from the trenches.

Let's hear it for our chefs. Two of them received their Food Handler cards. They look sharp.

Several members have earned jobs. This is great news. They're doing well.

Thanks to everyone who is helping to water the plants. We have had some good results including a giant zucchini which someone stole. PLEASE DO NOT STEAL THE VEGGIES...WE USE THEM IN MEALS...AND THEY REPRESENT A LOT OF WORK BY OUR GARDENERS.

We have a car wash coming up on the 28th. Car washes are fun...I can't put it any better. Plus we earn some money for our coffers that we can use for trips and other fun stuff.

If you have housing, please make sure you continue with the requirements, you may lose your housing if you don't.

Several members of the clubhouse are going back to school to earn degrees. If you're curious about going back to school, see a PFA or talk to your friends. Chaffey and Mt. SAC have good programs  and RCC is a good choice as well. You may even want to try Cal State , UC, or a private school like the Claremont Colleges, Occidental, or USC.

The MHSA Clubhouse Expansion Program (which the clubhouses and PFA's are under) has a new supervisor. This is great news for the program as we are definitely recovery oriented and so is she. Ask us about it.
